As a tourist the night shift was good. Went during the day got a huge hold in my card for 1 drink. Ordered a second, stepped outside to smoke someone picked up my drink and snaked right after I went outside and the bartender acted like this was a normal thing. Embarrassing! (Edit) The bartender did make an effort to go out of her way to make sure I felt accommodated after the incident and took what I had to say to heart. Preemptive review, exactly that. Not too shabby. Check it out.

This is THE local pub you’re looking for - friendly, fun, neighborhood feel from the second you walk in the door. Rachel will remember your name and drink if you’ve been there ONCE. A true professional. Eric and David the owners, are wonderful, and always quick with a hilarious convo - great weekend energy and a total vibe. Love grabbing a cocktail outside at the picnic table any day that ends in Y.

My experience at this bar was in the late 70s and early 80s. My husband, Michael and his partner Micky owned this place when my husband was in medical school. There was one of many brawls here that were just hilarious. One in February when the entire bar cleared into the street and “dibs” chairs were thrown everywhere. The police showed up and everyone was back in the bar like nothing happened. It had a liquor rack over the square bar. There was a neighborhood Elvis impersonator dancing on the bar. All at once the liquor rack crashed onto the bar. My husband proposed to me there. Always something with a cast of characters. I’m sure it’s very different now. Great memories

A family friend took me here when I moved to the neighborhood almost 3 years ago and I remember the owner bringing me out a shot to welcome me to Bucktown. It's been my go-to neighborhood bar ever since and my boyfriend and I love it so much. The owners and staff are the best! Everyone is welcome here and doesn't have the "regulars only" attitude that I've experienced at other little neighborhood spots. It's a dive, but not scummy or dirty. Lots of great beers on tap and the bathrooms are always clean.

This is the perfect neighborhood bar. Drinks are reasonably priced, service is good, atmosphere and dart boards are great. That being said expect a good crowd of locals. This place is loved and there is a strong community vibe here. You can smoke at the outdoor seating and have your drink. A huge bonus! If you're a smoker that is. I highly recommend it. Go get you some!

Perfect neighborhood bar that caters to everyone. Does not matter if you are a newcomer or a Bucktown regular. Staff is friendly and attentive. Good beer and drink selection and prices are definitely reasonable.
No food, buy you can bring your own in or order food to the bar.
WiFi. Darts. Electronic bowling. Tvs. Touch tunes.
Secret tip. .. Ask the bartender for dice roll.

Just moved to Chicago and stumbled upon Web’s. One of their bartenders, Chris, is beyond welcoming to transplants and new customers. He makes a good cocktail and is genuine! Also, he has an amazing bar presence! Love this dude!!!
