Schönes Hotel, Zimmer groß, Betten bequem, freundliches Personal, sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Gut ausgestattetes Gym mit toller Aussicht. Nur vier Sterne aufgrund der unfassbar unverschämten Preise im Lobbyshop. 10$ für einen winzigen Obstsalat, knapp 100g, je 6$ für eine kleine Flasche 0,33l Orangensaft oder ein sehr kleines Pain au Chocolat. Nicht nachvollziehbar.

Das Marriott Minneapolis City Center ist zwar sehr zentral gelegen jedoch sind kaum Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Man muss mit dem Aufzug fahren, bis man zur Lobby kommt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich das Zimmer ist sauber und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank

Auf Anfrage erhält man einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Personal ist freundlich und bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.||||Fitness-Center ist groß und hat genügend Kardio-Geräte.||||Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut - Im Zentrum von Minneapolis. Über Sky-Ways kommt man trocknen und warmen Fusses zu allen interessanten öffentlichen Einrichtungen.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem, freundlichen Service. Gute Lage, 5min zu Blueline und Greenline, Skyways zum Target Stadion, Target Center.. Zimmer groß und gemütlich, mit Kühlschrank, Safe und Wasserkocher. Sehr gute Pflegeprodukte. Restaurant sehr gut und freundliches Personal. Kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.

First time in Minneapolis for my first Vikings home game. The staff were amazing to deal with. Free upgrade to junior suite at the highest floor he could get me to do I could really enjoy my weekend. Really a nice clean hotel with a few frills. No issues to report and truly enjoyed my stay.

Very nice, clean rooms. Was treated very well as a Marriott Bonvoy elite member. My room was huge and modern.

Only downside is the elevator logic and the requirement to switch banks if coming off the street. The elevators do not handle crowding well.

Good proximity to downtown offices and Target Center/Field if in town for events.

Booked and paid for a guaranteed reservation for Saturday August 24, 2024 back in May from earlier this year. We booked for two rooms at the downtown Marriott, so that we could attend the Zach Bryan Concert at US Bank Stadium, about 5 blocks away that evening.
We received an email about my upcoming stay the day before our reservation and then received an email that Saturday, welcoming us to the Marriott City Center and to go ahead and check in (email states: "Check in now and get ready for your stay") and did that online as we pulled up to the hotel.
Went into the hotel to check in and get keys and after some time with the front desk clerk, they walked away and came back with a piece of paper stating that they were overbooked and our reservations would NOT be honored at the City Center Marriott Hotel. We were given the excuse of it's the "Minnesota State Fair" weekend and the concert was there that night, which is why we booked for this hotel at the beginning of the year.
Meanwhile, the letter was from the Mall of America Marriott, stating that they were going to pay for our 2 rooms at their location, which is over 10 miles away...
Here's my biggest whining complaints about this all:
1- At NO POINT, did anyone ever contact us to inform us of what they did.
2- At NO POINT, did anyone ever apologize for NOT honoring our reservation that the location we booked and had already paid for.
3- AND FINALLY, the BIG kick to the rear-end ... they KNEW they were going to do this days in advance, AND never bothered to tell us as their letter to us proves... the date they wrote the "you don't get what you paid for letter" was 4 days BEFORE our arrival at the hotel.
They never bothered contacting us ahead of time to tell us ... which would have saved us a few hours and $50 in parking at the location we couldn't stay at... and did I mention ↓↓

If you get guaranteed reservations Marriott, make sure you have a back up plan just in case theirs falls through....

I was here for a board meeting with my friend. I really enjoyed my room. It was lovely and had quite a view. The service at this hotel as far as for the front desk was okay. However, some of the members at the desk came off a little strong, but they were accommodating. As far as the housekeeping staff, they were wonderful. The person was very polite and they did a really good job cleaning the rooms.
