The MainStay Suites in Carlisle is the hidden gem of lodging in the Carlisle and Mechanicsburg area. This hotel is impeccably clean and maintained with excellence. The suites are spacious and have a well functioning kitchen - ideal for the business traveler or family. The staff is friendly and helpful. Conveniently located right off of I-81. We will be back!

Clean doesn’t describe this place, it was immaculate! Nicely decorated, great staff, and our continental breakfast was a great start to our day! If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here again!!!

I kept thinking this hotel has got to be too good to be true! But it's the real deal. WOW. We got an incredible last-minute rate. We had a family member unexpectedly in the hospital and needed a place to stay. This hotel is only 1 mile from UPMC Carlisle Hospital. So convenient! It's also right next to an exit on 81 and gas stations.

MainStay Suites Carlisle is easily one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in, including hotels that are 3-4 star hotels. Our room was immaculate. The hotel is relatively new (3 years or so) and you can tell that the staff puts a lot of effort into keeping it like new.

The beds were comfy and the kitchen was a great perk. The staff was phenomenal! When my car wouldn't start on a 20 degree morning, the front desk clerk jumped to my aid without hesitation, even though it was freezing cold outside. He quickly hooked my car up to jumper cables and his car. Within minutes, my car was running again. I was so grateful he was there to rescue us from a tough situation, being from out of town with no one to call nearby for help.

The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a full hot breakfast. But there were plenty of options anyhow and we left satisfied - things like cereal, muffins, granola bars, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, etc.

We stayed here two nights and I will stay here again anytime I'm in the area. I've already started recommending this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel is a newer hotel. It is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is well maintained and kept up. The housekeepers do a wonderful job as well as the rest of the staff are very friendly. Check in was easy as well check out. The front desk staff are very friendly staff.

Best MainStay we have ever stayed in. The room was immaculate. Front desk staff were friendly, and it was quiet. For an extended stay, it worked so well that we are returning to this location for a week in November. It's a little off the beaten path, but we liked it that way.

Always stay here when in town for business. Loving staying here, it like home away from home. The only issues is they need to fix their WiFi so he will reqch all the rooms with better signal. The front desk is friendly and very helpful if any issues arises. Will 100 % stay here again when back in town for work.

Rooms are spotless and has all the amenities you need which is why I'm giving this place 4 stars, even though I wouldn't return. I wish they'd add on actual door to the bathroom instead of that sliding door. Fine if you're solo but not ideal if you're sharing. The continental breakfast sucks, wish it had been advertised as no breakfast. My main issue was the noise. I could hear the TV from adjoining suites, not loud enough to make out any words but loud enough to be an annoyance. I could also hear stomping from above and road noises. I choice to stay hear because the rooms were advertised as soundproofed on Expedia so this was a huge disappointment. Has the soundproofing of a cheap hotel.
