I couldn’t be more thrilled with the amazing haircut my boyfriend got at this salon! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the receptionist, who was so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing, which made the experience even better.
The hairstylist took the time to listen to what he wanted and made sure to incorporate the details from the pictures we showed her. She made sure everything was just right, paying attention to details that were important to my boyfriend.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a skilled hairstylist and a great experience overall!

Finding a new barber is always stressful. We’ve all been there—nervous about dropping good money on a cut that may or may not turn out how you imagined. But all of that disappears when you see Lilly. I’ve followed Lilly across different shops for years, and every time I visit her at 18|8, it’s a 10/10 experience. She’s a master at her craft, listens to what you want, and consistently delivers. If you’re looking for someone you can trust to always give you a great cut, Lilly is the one. Highly recommend her as your next go-to barber!

a) I have not been informed of a cancellation policy when front desk schedule these appointments. So, what’s said by this 18|8 franchisee is not true. From the franchisee’s response it appears that they have no such policy but made an abrupt targeted decision to punish me.

b) I have been a customer of 18|8 since 2018 Westwood, Massachusetts and Austin downtown (more recently). My comment above applies to the entire 18|8 brand because it doesn’t seem to have any control over franchisee’s ad hoc business practices. I will not visit any 18|8 franchise going forward.

I’ve been coming to 18|8 for over a year now and so happy that I found Lili. I have never had a bad experience booking, they’re always extremely friendly and punctual. Lili (my stylist) is amazing and her attention to detail stands out in every haircut, I always leave feeling so relaxed and refreshed! Thank you Lili and 18|8 team!

One of the best men's salons in Austin. I always go see Portia who always gives the most consistent and great haircuts.
They also have nice little waiting area outside where they have some complimentary soda and beer.
I would recommend booking an appointment ahead of time as usually they are pretty booked.

I’ve been seeing Keyondra at the 1818 Salon in the Domain for a year since I’ve moved to Austin from LA. She’s been the bomb, providing the best cut and coloring I’ve ever experienced. She’s amazing! Worth the $$!

I have been trying to find a stylist around who can understand the requirements pretty well. Keayondra is just best in the business I found I come up with new requirement each and everytime whether it be with hair coloring or hair cut styling she just understands my requirements pretty quickly I can relax and be confident every time I visit the salon and keayondra takes care of the rest and she is super friendly and I just keep and smiling be happy after I see how she makes perfect styling as per the requirement and she is just perfect glad I found my stylist forever:). Domain 18/8 salon front desk staff is great at service as well.

*Edited review from 1 star to 4 after Rowan at the front desk kindly reached out to address the situation. Great haircuts, however, as I was checking out, the blonde girl working the front desk today asked me, "is that really your last name?" and when I said "yes" she proceeded to say "that sucks." Then she asked, "did your wife take that last name?" Then I left saying "have a good one." That was one of the weirdest rudest moments of my adult life.
